Job Description Required :

Candidates should have to provide adequate technical details to the internal and external teams to substantiate the findings and drive issue resolution.
Candidates have to build rapport with the vendors and the extended engineering teams. Work in coordination with the teams to achieve engineering objectives.
Candidates study new technologies offered by Dell and share the knowledge with team members through presentations.
Candidates have to assist other internal engineering teams, as and when needed to resolve OS issues.
Candidates have to keep track of developments in the Virtualization technologies, use the knowledge to train and improve the internal processes.
Candidates should have to setup the test bed as per the hardware configuration matrix for the release consisting of platforms, peripherals, add-on cards etc and then install required software like firmware, BIOS, OS etc. Perform validation as per the Test Strategy / Plan.
Candidates troubleshoot and debug system/component issues (HW/SW). Characterize, contain and Root cause defects of reasonable to high complexity on multiple ESX/ESXi versions.
Candidates should have good conceptual understanding of Hypervisors (ESX/ESXi architecture), networking and storage subsystems.
Candidates should have hands-on exposure to VMware ESX/ESXi server and vCenter Server, good understanding of other virtualization technologies will be a plus.
Candidates should be very good in computer architecture and should have inclination to learn hardware.
Candidates exposure to Intel/AMD CISC architecture will be a plus.
Candidates must have good analytical skills to trouble shoot technical issues.
Candidates should have solid written and verbal communication skills. Experience involving day-to-day interaction with distributed teams based at US would be an added advantage.
Candidates should have knowledge of system management tools will be a plus.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in the software/hardware industry.
Candidates should be an engineering graduate in Electronics & Communication/Computer Science.
Candidates should have strong Computer Architecture background, should have good exposure to Hardware, BIOS, Firmware, Assembler, Kernel abstraction layers.
Candidates should have Strong C/Assembly level Programming/Debugging Skills.
Candidates should have good understanding of Linux/Unix Internals, Strong Device Driver Development Background will be a plus.
