RESERVE BANK OF INDIA :
Reserve Bank of India is India's Central Banking Institution, which controls the Monetary Policy of the Indian Rupee. It commenced its operations on 1 April 1935 during the British Rule in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The RBI plays an important part in the Development Strategy of the Government of India. RBI was nationalised in the year of 1 January 1949. The bank is also active in promoting financial inclusion policy and is a leading member of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI). The Reserve Bank of India has four zonal offices and has 19 regional offices at most state capitals and at a few major cities in India. The Reserve Bank of India has four regional representations North in New Delhi, South in Chennai, East in Kolkata and West in Mumbai. RBI maintains the economic structure of the country so that it can achieve the objective of price stability as well as economic development, because both objectives are diverse in themselves. The objectives are giving the public adequate sups of RBI are to issue bank notes, to maintain the currency and credit system of the country to utilize it in its best advantage, and to maintain the reserves.
Job Description for Candidates :
1. Candidates should be a medical graduate of Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Medical Council of India.
2. Candidates contract will be initially for a period of three years and it can be extended on terms and conditions which are mutually agreeable to both the parties.
3. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in any hospital or as Medical Practitioner.
4. Candidates remuneration of the Bank’s Medical Consultant (on contract basis) will be fixed with reference to the actual duty hours as given below inclusive of all.
5. Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours at its discretion in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements.
